Supporting Workshop Availability
Parksons’ service support is designed to ensure that mechanical workshops perform reliably in real operating conditions — not just at the point of delivery.
Support is provided through two distinct engagement models, depending on whether the requirement is for a new workshop or an operating facility.
1. Embedded Project Services (For New Workshops)
For complete mechanical workshop packages, service activities are embedded into execution to ensure the workshop is usable, maintainable, and ready for operation from day one.
| Phase | Included Support Activities |
|---|---|
| Engineering | Preparation of datasheets, GA drawings, and Quality Plans |
| Quality Assurance | Pre-dispatch inspections with complete documentation and on-site final acceptance testing |
| Logistics | Professional packing, loading, transportation, and transit insurance |
| Handover | On-site commissioning, machine demonstrations, and operator familiarisation |
| Warranty | Service and spares support during the initial operating period |
These activities are usually treated as integral to delivering a workshop that can be placed into service without avoidable rework or delays.
2. Standalone Support & Maintenance
For operating plants with legacy equipment or specific technical requirements, Parksons provides focused support outside the scope of new workshop projects.
This typically includes:
After-Sales Support
Post-warranty service and spares support for machines supplied by Parksons.
Technical Assistance
Engineering guidance for maintenance, troubleshooting, and upkeep of heavy workshop machinery.
Single Machine Service
Support for individual machines, with scope and response model defined clearly at the time of order.
Service scope and responsibilities are clarified upfront to avoid ambiguity during operation.
